Luther King Sur, in San Miguel de Abona, belongs to Colegio Luther King, a school group whose website lists schools in La Laguna, San Miguel and Arafo. The school's motto is "Escuela, Disciplina, Trabajo", and its educational project states that it is inspired by the values of Martin Luther King, with a school community made up of families from all continents.

Across the group, the website describes the following stages:

• Infant education, from 4 months to 5 years
• Primary education, ages 6 to 12
• Secondary education
• Bachillerato
• DUAL American Diploma with Academica Corporation, taught online and entirely in English, leading to both the Spanish and the US qualification
• Special education: Aula Enclave TVA for young people aged 16 to 21

The group offers more than 30 extracurricular activities, which vary by school, including conversation classes in English, French and German, Chinese, and preparation for Cambridge, DELF and Goethe exams. School services include a dining hall with its own kitchen, early and late care, transport, a nurse's office and a school shop. The school day runs Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 17:00, with supervised care from 7:00 to 18:00.
