ESADA (Escuela Superior de Arte y Diseño de Andalucía) is a private higher arts education centre in the centre of Granada, authorised by the Junta de Andalucía to teach official higher design studies. Its four-year degrees (240 ECTS) lead to the Título de Grado en Enseñanzas Artísticas Superiores de Diseño in the chosen speciality, which is equivalent to a university bachelor's degree (MECES level 2).

At postgraduate level the school offers one-year master's programmes of 60 ECTS, both official and its own: the official masters are in Video Game Design and in Artificial Intelligence Applied to Design. Degree students do a curricular work placement in the second semester of the fourth year.
ESADA takes part in Erasmus+: in the first semester of 2026-27 it received 20 international students from 12 countries. Admission to the degrees requires a pass in the specific entrance test set by the regional education authorities, or the Técnico Superior de Artes Plásticas y Diseño for direct access.

A curricular work placement takes place in the second semester of the fourth year; optional extracurricular placements are possible from the second year.
Graduate programmes
One-year master's programmes (60 ECTS), official and school-own:
- Official Master's in Video Game Design
- Official Master's in Artificial Intelligence Applied to Design
According to the school, the official master's degrees give access to doctoral studies.
Admission
There are two main routes to the design degrees:
- Specific entrance test: for holders of the Bachillerato, a CFGS or equivalent; the test is set by the regional education authorities, is different from the PAU and is valid for one year
- Direct access: for holders of the Técnico Superior de Artes Plásticas y Diseño, with no test
- Applicants without the Bachillerato also take an academic maturity test
Applications for the tests are made in May; the maturity test is held in June and the specific test in early July, with a second call in September for remaining places. To secure a place, students then make a place reservation at ESADA.
Duration
Design degrees: 4 academic years (240 ECTS). Master's programmes: 1 year (60 ECTS).
Scholarships and financial aid
Students on the official degrees can apply for Spanish Ministry of Education grants, the Junta de Andalucía Adriano grants and Erasmus grants. CaixaBank offers a student loan without guarantor. Fees can be paid in a single payment with a 3% discount or in instalments until June.
