The Escola Oficial d'Idiomes Barcelona-Drassanes (EOIBD) is a public official language school in Barcelona, with a main building at Av. Drassanes 14 and an annex at Av. Drassanes 3-5. According to the school, it teaches more than 20 languages to 9,937 students with 117 teachers. Its official courses lead to certificates of the level achieved, valid throughout Spain for official procedures such as nationality applications.
Spanish for foreigners is taught in Spanish in groups of 25 to 30 students:
- Intensive courses from A1 to B2.2: four months (September-January or February-May), four mornings a week
- Extensive courses at B1 and B2.1: September to May, two afternoons a week
- Blended C1 course: September to May, one class a week
- Non-official options such as conversation groups, skills workshops and summer courses
Pre-registration for new students is compulsory and takes place in September (or January for courses starting then). Official certificates are obtained after passing A2, B1, B2.2 and C1. Besides its official languages, the school offers non-official courses in other languages such as Danish, Galician, Hebrew, Polish and Catalan Sign Language, as well as an English theatre group, a choir and Erasmus+ projects. The school does not handle visa applications.

Programmes
Official Spanish courses (Spanish as a foreign language):
- Intensive A1 to B2.2: September-January or February-May, Monday to Thursday, 9.30-11.45 or 11.45-14.00
- Extensive B1 and B2.1: September-May, two afternoons a week
- C1 (blended): September-May, one morning a week in class
There are no classes on Fridays. Candidates can also sit the B1, B2 or C1 certificate exams once a year (May-June) without attending classes. Non-official Spanish options include skills courses and conversation groups.
