The Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño San Telmo (EASD San Telmo) is a public school of art and design in Málaga, founded in 1851. It offers three levels of study: higher design studies, vocational training cycles and the arts Bachillerato.
Its higher studies lead to the Higher Education Degree in Design, which takes four academic years (240 ECTS credits), is placed at level 2 of the Spanish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (MECES) and is equivalent to a university bachelor's degree. The degree is taught in three specialities: Graphic Design, Fashion Design and Interior Design.
To be admitted, students need the Bachillerato, a higher arts education degree, a university degree, a Técnico Superior qualification or an equivalent title, or the university entrance certificate for over-25s; holders of a Técnico Superior de Artes Plásticas y Diseño do not have to sit the entrance exams. Enrolment is done online through the virtual office of the Andalusian education system.
Through Erasmus+, students can study abroad in Germany, Bulgaria, Estonia, France, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, the Czech Republic and Turkey, depending on their speciality.

Admission
Applicants to the higher design studies need one of the following: the Bachillerato; a higher arts education degree, a university degree or a Técnico Superior qualification, or an equivalent or recognised title; or the university entrance certificate for over-25s. Holders of a Técnico Superior de Artes Plásticas y Diseño (any higher-level art and design cycle) are exempt and do not have to sit the entrance exams. Both routes, with and without the exam, can be used.

The Higher Education Degree in Design takes four academic years and is worth 240 ECTS credits. It is placed at level 2 of the Spanish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (MECES).
