The Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de Chiclana (EOI Chiclana) is an official language school in Chiclana de la Frontera, in the province of Cádiz (Andalusia). It is located in the El Campito public park, on the Carretera de la Barrosa, and teaches Spanish, French, English and German.
The Spanish department teaches Spanish for foreigners in morning groups. The provisional timetable for the 2026-27 academic year lists courses at every level from first-year A1 to B2.2:
- Básico: A1 (two groups) and A2
- Intermedio: B1, B2.1 and B2.2
Face-to-face courses mean four and a half hours of class a week on two days, Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday. The school also runs blended courses, which combine online teaching with at least one and a half hours a week in class, and four-month CAPE courses without exams that lead to a certificate of attendance and achievement. External candidates can register to sit the official certification exams for levels A2 to C2.
New students apply for a place through the annual admission procedure (solicitud de admisión), in person at the school or online through the Junta de Andalucía's Secretaría Virtual. Applicants with prior knowledge can prove previous studies or take a one-off placement test. Places left after September enrolment are published as vacancies.
