The Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de Fuengirola is a public official language school in Fuengirola (Andalusia), located in the Edificio Siglo XXI on Avenida Miramar. It belongs to the Andalusian network of official language schools, whose curricula follow the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. It teaches Spanish as a foreign language (Español como Lengua Extranjera), English, French and German.
Spanish is taught in the classroom modality at Nivel Básico A1, Nivel Básico A2 and Nivel Intermedio B1. Classroom courses have four and a half hours a week in two sessions. For 2026-27 the school offered 30 new places in first-year Básico (A1) and 15 in Intermedio B1 for Spanish, and it publishes its Spanish timetable notice in both Spanish and English. English is taught up to C2, also in blended (semipresencial) courses and specialisation courses (CAPE), while French and German run up to B2.
New students apply for a place in May and enrol in July if admitted. Applicants who already speak some Spanish can ask for a placement test (Prueba Inicial de Clasificación), which includes a short written text and an oral interview.

New students cannot enrol directly: they apply for admission from 1 to 20 May, at one school and in one language only, and enrol in July if admitted. Classroom courses require applicants to be at least 16 by 31 December (14 for a language other than their first foreign language at secondary school).
Without a recognised certificate, applicants start in first-year Nivel Básico (A1) or request the placement test (PIC) in their application; for Spanish in 2026 it was held on 25 June 2026 and consists of a written text and a short interview.
