Svenska Skolan Costa del Sol (Colegio Sueco de la Costa del Sol) is a Swedish school abroad in Fuengirola, on the Costa del Sol, located at Avenida Acapulco 11. It was founded in 1969 and is run as a Spanish non-profit association whose members are the parents of pupils. The school teaches pupils from preschool to upper secondary level and aims to prepare them for both the Swedish and the Spanish school systems; it was granted permission to issue Spanish upper secondary grades.

Applications are accepted at any time and placed on a waiting list; admission for the autumn term starts in March and for the spring term in November. Upper secondary applicants are advised to compare their study plan with a careers counsellor, especially when joining in year 2 or 3.

Admission

Applications are accepted at any time and placed on a rolling waiting list. Admission for the autumn term starts in March and for the spring term in November. If no place is available, the application is kept for the next admission round; families leaving the queue can recover the registration fee minus a €50 administration fee. Upper secondary applicants are advised to compare their individual study plan with their current school's careers counsellor, particularly when applying for year 2 or 3.
