LIU Global (Global College) is part of Long Island University (LIU), a university founded in 1926 whose main campuses are LIU Brooklyn, in Downtown Brooklyn, and LIU Post, on a 330-acre estate in Brookville on Long Island, New York. LIU is accredited university-wide by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, has over 15,000 students with a student-faculty ratio of 11:1, and offers over 150 degree programmes.
LIU Global offers a bachelor's degree studied around the world: the programme spans eight countries on five continents. According to the university, it prepares students for careers in business, policy, humanitarian relief, social entrepreneurship, economic development and environmental sustainability.
