Green Stone British International School is a small British international school in La Colonia de Torrelodones, northwest of Madrid. It is authorised by the British Council and is a member of NABSS (the National Association of British Schools in Spain). The project began in 2016 as British School Las Rozas, and the Torrelodones school continues it.

The curriculum is aligned with the National British Curriculum at all stages and also follows the Oxford International Curriculum, with full immersion in English and qualified native-speaking teachers. Pupils are taught up to age 14:

• Early Years Foundation Stage: Toddlers, Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Reception
• Key Stage 1 (Years 1-2)
• Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6)
• Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9)

Early Years learning is play-based, with a qualified teacher and a teaching assistant in each class. Reading and writing are taught with Jolly Phonics and Floppy's Phonics, and mathematics with White Rose Maths; from Key Stage 2 teaching is enquiry-based. The school also uses the Conscious Discipline social-emotional programme, which teaches children to regulate their emotions, and promotes a growth mindset. It describes itself as a small, family school that keeps close contact with parents.
