Higher School of Economics - Summer School in Moscow & St. Petersburg

HSE University (National Research University Higher School of Economics) is a Russian university with campuses in Moscow, St Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Perm. It has about 60,000 students, of whom 5,800 are international students. Its main address in Moscow is 11 Pokrovsky Bulvar.

For international students HSE offers both short-term and full-degree study:

• Summer schools, including an International Summer School at HSE University–St Petersburg
• Semester in Moscow and exchange programmes
• Bachelor's degrees (4-5 years, 55+ programmes in Russian or English)
• Master's degrees (2 years, 120+ programmes)
• PhD programmes (3-4 years)
• A one-year Preparatory Year in Russian language

HSE also runs 20 double degree programmes with partner countries such as China, Brazil and South Korea. Degree applications are made online, and both full scholarships and fee-paying places are available. A support centre for international students helps with student documents, health insurance and a volunteer buddy, and organises events such as Russian Culture Day. The university has a visa support centre and dormitories in Moscow, and helps students find housing.
