Indiana Institute of Technology, known as Indiana Tech, is a university in Fort Wayne, Indiana, founded in 1930 as Indiana Technical College to offer an accelerated engineering degree. Today it is a comprehensive university focused on career-oriented professional programmes, from certificates to doctoral degrees, offered on campus and online. Its 50-acre campus is two minutes east of Fort Wayne's city centre. Indiana Tech is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, and its engineering programmes by ABET.

  • College of Arts and Sciences: 53 degrees and certificates
  • College of Business: 73 degrees and certificates
  • Talwar College of Engineering and Computer Sciences: 41 programmes

International students apply free of charge for undergraduate or graduate study. Undergraduate applicants need TOEFL iBT 70, IELTS 6.0, PTE 51 or Duolingo 105 unless they come from an English-speaking country. Merit scholarships for international first-year students range from US$5,000 to US$18,000 per year, and two full-tuition Global Scholar of Excellence awards are offered each year. Students under 60 credits usually live on campus in one of eight residence halls; classes have 15 to 20 students, according to a student testimonial on the site.

International first-year students receive merit scholarships of US$5,000 to US$18,000 per year based on their secondary school GPA (US$18,000 for 3.75 and above), renewable with a 2.0 GPA and applied to tuition. Two full-tuition Global Scholar of Excellence awards are offered per academic year; for fall 2027 entry, candidates (preferably with a 3.75 GPA and ACT 26 or SAT 1240) apply by 30 April 2027 with an essay, CV and recommendation.

Indiana Tech has eight residence halls and a two-year residency requirement: single students with fewer than 60 credits usually live on campus. First-year students are generally housed in Pierson or Kalbfleisch Halls; upper-class options include Evans-Kimmell, Oropeza, Yergens-Rogers, Summit and Troder Halls and the Warrior Row townhouses. Students apply after paying a housing deposit. International students can move in early for international orientation. The campus has a restaurant, a coffee shop and a bowling alley.
