International School Maresme (ISM) is a small British international school in Canet de Mar, on the Maresme coast about 45 minutes from Barcelona. It follows the National Curriculum of England from MiNis (age 1) to Year 11 (age 16), and all lessons are taught in English. The campus has a private forest and sea views, and outdoor learning follows a Forest School approach.
- MiNis (ages 1-3)
- Early Years Foundation Stage (ages 3-5)
- Primary, Key Stages 1 and 2 (ages 5-11)
- Secondary, Key Stages 3 and 4 (ages 11-16), with Pearson Edexcel IGCSE in Years 10 and 11
IGCSE students take English Language, Mathematics, Double Science, Spanish, Catalan, History and Geography of Spain and PSHE, plus two options such as Art and Design, ICT or Business Studies. The school also offers a dual certificate option that leads to the Spanish Graduado en ESO alongside the IGCSE.
