Parola is an Italian language school in the historic centre of Florence, at Borgo Santa Croce 17. It is accredited by the University for Foreigners of Siena (Università per Stranieri di Siena) to run the CILS exams in Italian as a foreign language, and the school is itself an official CILS exam centre. Courses run all year, are taught by native-speaker teachers and cover six levels, from A1 to C2.

  • Group courses of 6 to 20 hours a week, from one week
  • Individual lessons
  • Combined group and individual courses
  • Online courses for up to five students
  • CILS exam preparation
  • Italian combined with cooking, drawing, fashion or painting

Classes on site have at most 12 students and usually take place Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm. Course prices include the school's own grammar books, after-class activities, a certificate of attendance and the housing placement service, with no separate registration fee. On request, the school arranges apartments, rooms with host families or hotels free of charge. Students from outside the EU receive a registration certificate to support their visa application.
