Exchange students first contact the mobility office of their home university, which selects them and sends their application to Lyon 1; the international office of the host faculty then issues an acceptance letter. Erasmus+ agreements are signed by discipline, and the ORA (Ontario) and Oregon programmes do not cover medicine. Students who are not on an exchange apply individually through a separate procedure.
