McGinty School of English
English courses in Almería, Spain
McGinty School of English is an English language academy in Almería, founded in 2000 by its director, Angus McGinty. Its main centres are on Avenida Cabo de Gata: the McGinty School of English at number 54 and McGinty Kids, a centre for pre-school children, at number 33. Associated McGinty centres across Almería run after-school classes. Courses are for students from age 3 to adults.
- Pre-school (ages 3-5) and primary (ages 6-12) English
- Secondary and Bachillerato courses
- General English and conversation for adults
- Cambridge exam preparation (B1, B2 and C1)
- Summer intensive courses of 5-6 weeks in June and July (90 teaching hours)
- English for work: in-company or at the academy, group or individual, in person or online
The regular course runs from September to June. Classes are taught in small groups by age and level, and the school states that it has more than 20 native and bilingual teachers. A free placement test is available.
