The Universidad de Almería (UAL) offers official bachelor's degrees (grados), master's degrees and doctoral programmes in Almería. Some bachelor's degrees can be studied at a distance, in blended or virtual formats, or with a dual (work-based) track, and the university also offers double degrees. Its Programas Académicos con Recorridos Sucesivos (PARS) combine a bachelor's degree with a further engineering pathway, for example in Agronomic, Industrial, Computer or Chemical Engineering, or in Mediterranean greenhouse horticulture.

International double degrees include:

  • Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering with the University of Brescia (Italy)
  • Business Administration and Management with Kiel University (Germany)

International students can come through mobility programmes or enrol in full degrees; guides for future master's and doctoral students are available in English. Students can do company internships through the ICARO programme.

For accommodation, the Resa Cívitas university residence has a dining room, study rooms, a shared kitchen, gym and WiFi, with a direct bus to campus every 30 minutes. Other options are the Inturjoven university hostel, a programme in which students live with an older person, and a board of flats and rooms offered by private landlords.
