The Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño Carlos Pérez Siquier (EASD Carlos Pérez Siquier) is a public art and design school in Almería, run by the Consejería de Educación of the Junta de Andalucía. It occupies a historic building in the city centre, declared a Bien de Interés Cultural, with entrances from Plaza Pablo Cazard and Plaza Virgen del Mar.
At higher-education level, the school teaches the Enseñanzas Artísticas Superiores de Diseño de Interiores (Interior Design), an official four-year qualification equivalent to a bachelor's degree, with classes on weekday afternoons and evenings. It also offers the Bachillerato de Artes and eight Ciclos Formativos de Grado Superior (higher vocational courses) in fields such as artistic ceramics, photography, illustration, furniture and fashion pattern-making.
Admission to Interior Design requires the Bachillerato, or the university entrance exam for people over 25, plus a specific entrance test; holders of the Técnico Superior de Artes Plásticas y Diseño can enter directly for a share of the places. Pre-registration runs from 1 to 20 May. The school holds the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2021-2027: Interior Design students can spend a semester at partner schools, and incoming exchange students are accepted. All courses are taught in Spanish.

Programmes
Diseño de Interiores (Interior Design): official higher arts qualification equivalent to a bachelor's degree, four academic years, taught Monday to Friday from 15:30 to 22:00.
- Design projects for living, work, commercial, ephemeral and exhibition spaces, and hospitality
- Materials and construction, lighting, building pathologies and renovation
- Electives such as landscaping
- External work placement (12 ECTS) and final project (12 ECTS)
The qualification gives access to master's and doctoral studies.
Admission
Interior Design requires:
- The Bachillerato (Spanish upper-secondary certificate) or a pass in the university entrance exam for people over 25
- A pass in the specific entrance test (prueba específica de acceso)
Holders of the Técnico Superior de Artes Plásticas y Diseño can enter directly, without the test, for a share of the places. Pre-registration runs from 1 to 20 May and is required before enrolment. The tests take place in early July, with an extraordinary sitting in early October if places remain.
Language requirements
All courses are taught in Spanish. Incoming Erasmus+ students are asked for a Spanish language certificate; an official certificate is not mandatory, and results from the Erasmus+ OLS platform are accepted.
