Mount Saint Vincent University (MSVU), often called the Mount, is a university in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, on the Bedford Highway. It was established by women for the advancement of women, with social responsibility and social justice at its core. According to the university, it has more than 4,000 students from close to 70 countries and 600 faculty and staff, and its research centres work on topics such as food security, healthy aging, literacy and childhood development.

Programmes lead to bachelor's degrees, certificates, diplomas, master's degrees and doctorates. The university states that its four-year bachelor's degree in Public Relations is the only one in Canada. Many students take part in co-operative education. The International Education Centre advises international students on academic, cultural and immigration matters and runs incoming and outgoing exchanges. Applicants whose English test score is below the minimum can be offered conditional admission and study English with a pathway partner. The campus has its own residence buildings.

International undergraduate applicants must meet the academic requirements and, if English is not their first language, the English test requirements. Most study permit applications for undergraduate programmes also need a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) from Nova Scotia. Applicants whose first language is not English submit an official test score:
- IELTS: 6.5 (no band below 6.0) for undergraduate and BEd; 7.0 (no band below 6.5) for graduate studies
- TOEFL iBT: 86 (no section below 21) undergraduate; 93 (no section below 23) graduate
- Duolingo: 115 (no subscore below 95), undergraduate only
- CAEL: 60 undergraduate; 70 graduate
- PTE: 59 undergraduate; 61 graduate (no band below 54)
Applicants below the minimum may receive conditional admission and complete an English programme at a pathway partner school.
