Myland International School is an active-pedagogy school in Bollullos de la Mitación, near Seville, run by the Fundación Educativa Myland. It was started by a family as an educational alternative for their own children and opened in 2010. The school is part of the recognition programme of the US agency New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and is authorised as a foreign international school by the regional education authority (Consejería de Educación).

  • Infantil (early years)
  • Primaria (primary)
  • Secundaria: Middle School and High School
  • Bachillerato

The academic content follows the Andalusian regional curriculum, but it is taught through projects (PBL) rather than separate subjects, with additional strands in robotics, architecture, ecology and journalism. Classes have about 15 students of mixed ages within the same cycle. The programme is bilingual: Spanish-speaking and English-speaking teachers work together and English is taught with a whole-language approach. The secondary school has its own campus. Families from countries such as Germany, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Chile, the United States, Italy, Portugal and the United Kingdom have joined the school. The school day runs from 9:00 to 14:00.
