Perrotis College is part of the American Farm School in Thessaloniki, Greece, and has offered education in agriculture, business and the environment since 1996. Its study abroad programme is aimed at undergraduate students from other universities. The college is NECHE-accredited, so U.S. students can earn credits that transfer to American universities. All courses are taught in English.

Students choose courses in sustainable agriculture, food science and technology, international business, digital marketing management or environmental science, and every participant takes the Greek Cultural Experience course. The options are:

• Fall term: 12 weeks, from late September to around 20 December, 4 courses (12 credits)
• Spring term: 12 weeks, from late January to around 20 April, 4 courses (12 credits)
• Summer term: 6 weeks, June to mid-July, up to 6 credits, with intensive courses, supervised research or a work internship on the school farm
• Faculty-led programmes designed for institutions and groups

Students live on campus in suite-style rooms and eat in the dining hall, which serves three meals a day. Excursions include Meteora and Athens and an optional hike on Mount Olympus. Applicants need a minimum GPA of 2.5. According to the college, all programmes are shorter than 89 days, so study abroad students do not need a visa.

The study abroad programmes are open to undergraduate students from accredited universities, from any major, although some courses have prerequisites. Applicants should first consult the study abroad advisor at their home institution, then submit the online application form and a CV. A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required.

Study abroad students live on campus in suite-style rooms with two bedrooms, a shared living room, two bathrooms and a balcony or patio. Residences have Wi-Fi and free laundry facilities, and the café and dining hall serve three meals a day with options for all dietary needs. Students also have access to the campus sports facilities.
