The Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid was founded by Queen María Christina in 1830, who was very fond of music. Its headquarters was initially in the Mostenses Plaza. At present, is located in the vicinity of the National Center of art Reina Sofia.Among its objectives arises as the modernization of the Centre through the introduction of new technologies and its openness to the outside.
