Richmond American University London is an independent university based in Chiswick Park, west London, where it moved its campus in 2022. It was established in 1972 as a study abroad centre for American university students and today awards both a UK and a US degree to all its students. It is registered with the Office for Students in the UK, with Taught Degree Awarding Powers, and accredited in the United States by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education; according to the university, its current MSCHE status is Non-Compliance Warning, and it remains accredited while on Warning.

About 1,100 students follow an American-style liberal arts curriculum, with Fall and Spring semesters of about 15 weeks and an optional six-week summer session. The offer includes:

  • Undergraduate degrees of three to four years
  • Master's programmes in business and the humanities
  • Study abroad semesters, years and an International Summer School in London
  • BA (Hons) International Sports Management with football at RIASA, in Leeds

Undergraduates can spend a semester or a full year abroad at partner institutions and can take integrated internships in the UK or overseas. Applications are open for January and September 2027 entry, and managed accommodation options are available in London.
