The Royal University of Agriculture (RUA) is a university specialising in agriculture and related fields. It is organised into faculties and schools covering the main areas of agricultural science and rural development:
- Agronomy, Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine

- Agricultural Biosystems Engineering and Agro-Industry
- Agricultural Economics and Rural Development

Programmes listed on the university's site include associate degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medicine, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Biosystems Engineering, as well as programmes in crop science, animal science, food science and technology, natural resources management and agricultural extension. The Graduate School offers master's and doctoral programmes in areas such as integrated management of agricultural and rural development, natural resources management, animal science and farm management. The university has research laboratories, including pesticide and heavy-metals laboratories, and organises national and international scientific conferences. A language centre offers courses in English, Japanese and Chinese, and the campus has a career centre, sports facilities, a dormitory and a canteen.
