Sevilla Reggio Emilia School

Primary and secondary school in Seville, Spain

Sevilla Reggio Emilia School is a private international school in Seville, registered as a foreign private school (centro docente privado extranjero) and homologated by the Junta de Andalucía. It grew out of El Castillo Mágico, a nursery school founded in 2019 for children aged 0 to 3, which later added older children and then primary and secondary. The school states that it is in the process of accreditation as an American international school by the Middle States Association.

  • Early childhood education (ages 0-6)
  • Primary education (ages 6-12)
  • Secondary education (ages 12-16)

Teaching follows the Reggio Emilia approach, with the arts and music at the centre of learning and research projects connected to the city and daily life. Spanish and English are both used, with English given the same presence as the mother tongue. All study takes place in the morning, the school has its own kitchen, and families may enter the school at any time of the day.

For pupils who do not yet speak Spanish, classes taught in Spanish are interpreted and materials are provided in English until the pupil can follow everything in Spanish; extra support classes are also available. Admissions for the 2026-27 school year start with an online information request.
