Stockton University is a public university in southern New Jersey (United States), about an hour from Philadelphia and two hours from New York City. Founded in 1969, it held its first classes in 1971. Its main campus covers 1,600 acres in Galloway, within the Pinelands National Reserve, and Stockton University Atlantic City sits in the city's University District, close to the beach and the Boardwalk. There are further locations in Hammonton and Manahawkin. In fall 2025 it had 8,626 undergraduate and graduate students, with a student-to-faculty ratio of 17:1. U.S. News ranked it eighth among public regional universities in the North, according to the university.
Stockton offers more than 160 undergraduate and graduate programmes, taking an interdisciplinary approach to liberal arts, sciences and professional education. Options range from business, computing, marine science and nursing to the arts and social work, along with dual bachelor's and master's or doctoral programmes in fields such as health professions.
The Office of Undergraduate International Admissions handles applications from abroad; students from over 30 countries enrol each year, most of them on an F-1 visa. On-campus housing includes residence halls, suites and apartments.

First-year international applicants submit the application with a US$50 fee, official secondary school transcripts sent directly by their school (evaluated or translated if not in English), English test results and a copy of their passport or national ID. SAT/ACT scores, an essay and recommendation letters are optional. A GPA of 2.5 on the US 4.0 scale is expected. After admission, a US$250 enrolment deposit is required before the I-20 is processed. The university advises allowing three to six months for the whole process. For spring 2027 entry, the application deadline is 1 November 2026.
Undergraduate applicants who completed secondary school outside the United States need one of these results:

- PTE Academic 58
- Duolingo English Test 105
- ELS level 112
- Cambridge English 176 or above (B2 First, C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency)
Subscores are reviewed individually. Waivers apply, for example, after three years at an American high school or for secondary school in listed English-speaking countries.
International cost of attendance, 2026-27 academic year (fall and spring semesters):
- Undergraduate tuition (12-20 credits per semester): US$23,196, plus fees of US$2,820
- Undergraduate estimated total: US$48,620 living on campus (housing US$11,564, food US$4,055) or US$44,277 off campus
- Graduate tuition and fees: US$25,740 (master's) or US$28,926 (doctoral)
- Graduate estimated total: US$48,924 (master's) or US$52,110 (doctoral)
International first-year and transfer applicants, spring 2027 semester:
- 1 November 2026: complete application for admission
- 10 November 2026: admission decision issued
- 16 November 2026: enrolment confirmation deposit and Form I-20 application
- 14 January 2027: mandatory international student orientation
- 19 January 2027: classes start
On-campus housing includes residence halls, suite-style rooms and apartments; for 2026-27 charges range from US$4,729 to US$6,939 per semester, and a 12-month contract is available. Students can also live at the beachfront Stockton University Atlantic City campus. There are 17 dining locations across the two campuses, with 2026-27 meal plans from US$995 to US$3,155 per semester. New residents pay a US$150 housing deposit.
