TANDEM München is a language school in the Schwabing district of Munich, about 10 minutes from the city centre. It has offered German courses since 1989 and is a member of the international quality association TANDEM International. Its main focus is German as a foreign language, but it also teaches English, Spanish and Italian.

German is taught at all levels from A1 to C2, each divided into two sub-levels, and new students take the school's own placement test. Teachers are native speakers and classes are small.

The school is also an exam venue for the telc German B1, B2 and C1 University certificates and for the TestDaF, which is used to prove the German skills needed for university admission. Courses are held in person or in hybrid format, and the school organises cultural activities and excursions. Participants in intensive, visa and summer courses can book a room with a local host.

TANDEM München arranges rooms with local hosts in Munich for participants in its intensive, visa and summer courses, for up to 12 weeks; for longer stays students look for accommodation themselves. Each student has a furnished single room with bedding and shares the kitchen and bathroom; homes are at most 45 minutes from the school. Rooms are available from the Sunday before the course to the Saturday after it ends.

Prices for 2026: self-catering €170 per week, with breakfast €35 per night, with half board €45 per night, plus a €50 placement fee.
