Taylor University is a private Christian liberal arts university in Upland, Indiana (United States), with a residential campus. All students, faculty and staff make a profession of Christian faith and sign the Life Together Covenant, and chapel worship is part of campus life.
Taylor offers more than 100 undergraduate areas of study within a Christian liberal arts core curriculum, including an Undeclared programme for students who have not chosen a major, as well as graduate programmes and online courses, certificates and licensures through its Center for Digital & Extended Learning. Special programmes include health professions advising, pre-college dual enrollment and a Prospect Camp for international students.
International students come from more than 40 countries, and the Office of Intercultural Programs supports them. International applicants use Taylor's online application or the Common Application, submit transcripts translated into English, share how they came to faith (by essay or phone), and send TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo scores. Taylor is SEVP-certified to issue I-20s for F-1 visas; admitted students complete an affidavit of support, attend International Orientation a week before the semester, and must have health insurance. Students live in residence halls that mix all class years, without separate freshman dorms.
