Teesside University is a university based on a town-centre campus in Middlesbrough, in the Tees Valley in North East England. It also runs Teesside University London, a campus at Here East in Stratford specialising in digital and business courses. The university hosts the MIMA art gallery, which holds the Turner Prize 2026 exhibition, and says it has invested £300 million in its campus.
Its course search lists undergraduate degrees (many with a foundation year or placement year option), integrated master's degrees, taught master's and research degrees, degree apprenticeships and short courses. Subject areas include:

Academic and English requirements are published by country, qualification and course, and Teesside has global offices and agents. Applicants must meet the English language requirements of their chosen course. Self-funding international students pay a £4,000 deposit for 2026-27 before receiving their Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS), needed for the Student Visa; the deposit is refunded if the visa is refused. The visa application also requires proof of funds for the first year's outstanding fees plus £1,171 a month for living costs, up to nine months.
Tuition fees for international students, 2026-27 (full-time):
- Undergraduate degree: £17,000 per year; placement year £1,350
- Integrated master's (four years): £68,000 total
- Taught master's (MSc/MA), one year: £17,000; two-year Advanced Practice/Applied: £20,000 total

- Research degree: £11,750 (standard tier) or £14,500 (enhanced tier) per year
EU students who started on or after 1 August 2021 generally pay international fees.
Scholarships for international students, including EU students paying international fees:
- Vice Chancellor's Scholarship: £7,000 fee waiver in the first year
- EU Scholarship: £7,000 fee waiver
- Global Excellence Scholarship: £2,000 in the first year, for high-achieving applicants
- Alumni Scholarship: £1,000 for progressing to postgraduate study
- British Council GREAT Scholarships: one for a student from Spain and one from Vietnam, for a one-year postgraduate course
- Teesside University Advance: iPad loan and £100 a year for books (undergraduates)
Teesside has 900 beds on campus, all within about five minutes' walk, including halls, en-suite rooms and shared houses. Residences include Cornell Quarter, King Edward's Square, Woodlands Halls, West and East Parkside Village and Parkside Halls. Rental agreements run for 40, 45 or 50 weeks, bills and Wi-Fi are included in the rent, and wardens and security provide 24-hour support.
