Terramare - Italian language courses in Orbetello

Terramare is a centre for Italian language and culture for foreigners, run as a cooperative, in the historic centre of Orbetello in Tuscany. It was founded in 1985 in collaboration with the Koinè school in Florence and for many years worked with the Università per Stranieri di Siena, where its teachers obtained the DITALS certification for teaching Italian to foreigners. For the past 12 years Terramare has also run courses in Oristano and other places in Sardinia.

From 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027, the Winter Integral Course combines 20 hours of Italian a week (9.00 to 13.00) with cultural activities every afternoon and accommodation with an Italian family or in a B&B, in Orbetello or Oristano. The school also finds other types of accommodation for students free of charge.
