The British College of Benalmádena is a British school on the Benalmádena coast, in the Torremuelle residential area of Benalmádena (Málaga), facing the sea between Torremolinos and Fuengirola. It combines the British Curriculum with the key areas of the Spanish education system, so that pupils can gain both British and Spanish qualifications. The school states that its education is bilingual in English and Spanish, with native English teachers at every stage and pupils of more than 40 nationalities. It publishes a NABSS inspection report on its website.
- Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Reception (ages 1 to 4)
- Primary School, British National Curriculum (ages 5 to 10)
- Secondary School, Key Stages 3 and 4 with IGCSEs (Years 7 to 11)
- Sixth Form with AS and A Levels (ages 16 to 18)
Alongside IGCSEs and A Levels, students obtain the Spanish ESO and Bachillerato equivalency, and can apply to Spanish universities without taking the PAU through the Direct University Access Credential. Pupils who are not yet fluent in English receive intensive English tuition during school hours. To apply, parents make an appointment with the principal and visit with their child; depending on the year group, an entrance examination may be required. Applications for the 2026-27 academic year are open.
