The University of Western Australia (UWA) is a university in Perth, Western Australia. Its main campus is in Crawley, on the banks of the Swan River about 10 minutes from the city centre, and it also has campuses in Claremont and Albany. UWA has more than 28,000 students, including over 7,900 international students, in 22 schools, and states that it is a world top 100 university in the QS 2027 rankings. Admission
International applicants must meet the English language requirements, any course prerequisites and the academic requirements of a recognised qualification. They apply online through the UWA Application Portal or through an agent, up to two years before the intended start, and pay a non-refundable application fee of $150. Some courses, such as medicine and other health courses, have additional requirements. Documents:

International application deadlines for 2027 (offshore applicants):
- Semester 1, 2027: 11 January 2027 (28 December 2026 for applicants from the countries listed on the UWA site)

Scholarships and financial aid
Scholarships for international students starting in 2027 include:
- Global Excellence Scholarship: up to 20% off tuition fees for the whole course; applicants are considered automatically
- International Student Award: 10% off tuition fees for the whole course
- ASEAN Scholarship: 15% off tuition fees for students from Southeast Asian countries
- Forrest Research Foundation PhD Scholarships: package valued at more than AUD 50,000, including stipend and accommodation at Forrest Hall
