Trevecca Nazarene University is a private, four-year Christian liberal arts university in Nashville, Tennessee (United States), founded in 1901. Besides its main campus, it teaches at two satellite campuses in Middle Tennessee and online. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and reports a 19:1 student-teacher ratio. Students of other faiths are welcome, though chapel attendance (three services a week) earns required credits.
Trevecca awards associate, bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees, with more than 100 academic programmes. Fields include:

International students apply online free of charge for the fall or spring semester (deadlines: 1 August for fall, 1 December for spring). Requirements:
- Transcripts evaluated by a NACES member (Trevecca works with The Evaluation Company, formerly SpanTran; WES is also accepted)
- An English proficiency test result
- SAT or ACT scores are optional but recommended for higher scholarships
After admission, students meet a financial aid counsellor and, for the I-20, send proof of funds, the Certification of Financial Support, a passport photo page, immunisation records and a US$200 enrolment deposit.
Minimum English scores: Duolingo 110, TOEFL 79, IELTS 6.5, ACT English 20 or SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 480. These are the only accepted proofs (a school letter is not accepted), and applicants from English-speaking countries may still need a test score.
Undergraduate costs for the 2026-27 academic year (the same for all students, with no out-of-state rate):
- Tuition (12-18 credit hours): US$34,100 per year (US$17,050 per semester)
- Housing: US$5,200; board: US$6,200
- Student resource fee: US$1,550
- Total: US$47,050 per year
Part-time tuition (1-11 credit hours) is US$1,300 per credit hour.
International students are considered for scholarships automatically with their admission application. Academic scholarships range from US$6,000 to US$14,000 per year, based on high school GPA and optional test scores, and are renewed with a 3.0 GPA. Leadership, endowed, departmental and athletic awards are also available. Full-tuition awards are limited to the invitation-only J.O. McClurkan Scholarship.
Students live in traditional residence halls (Benson, Georgia, Johnson and Tennessee halls, with a 2 a.m. curfew) or apartment-style housing (University Commons and Legacy Apartments). Private rooms are available for an extra charge if space allows. In 2026-27 housing costs US$5,200 and board US$6,200 per year.
