The Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC), traditionally known as the Casa de Trejo, is a university in Córdoba, Argentina, with roots in the Jesuit Colegio Máximo. Higher studies began there in 1613; a papal brief of 1621, confirmed by a royal decree of 1622, gave the college the right to award degrees, and the university was then inaugurated. According to the university, its founding marked the beginning of higher education in Argentina. Law studies were added in 1791, creating the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences.

Teaching is organised in faculties, and the university also runs secondary colleges, libraries, museums, a publishing house and university hospitals. Much of its activity is based at Ciudad Universitaria, and the Jesuit Block is listed as World Heritage. UNC offers its own scholarships and receives international exchange students; a recent intake brought 165 exchange students from 19 countries.
