The Universidad Nacional del Sur (UNS) is an Argentine national university in Bahía Blanca, in the province of Buenos Aires. Its central administration (Rectorado) is at Avenida Colón 80, and teaching and services are spread across the Palihue campus, home to the Department of Economics, and the Avenida Alem complex. In 2026 the UNS is marking its 70th anniversary. It also runs its own secondary schools.
The university offers undergraduate degree programmes (carreras de grado) and postgraduate programmes, with a postgraduate studies office at Avenida Colón 80. Admission for the 2027 intake is announced on its website. An international relations office (Internacionales) handles international matters and can be reached at [email protected].
The student services office manages scholarships and grants, including residence scholarships, and the university has a student residence. Courses use the Moodle UNS virtual platform. The UNS also has a historic cultural centre on Rondeau Street and its own radio station, Radio UNS.
