The Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) is a public university in the Community of Madrid. Its campuses are in Móstoles, Alcorcón, Fuenlabrada, Aranjuez and the city of Madrid (Vicálvaro, Manuel Becerra and Quintana). Admission to its bachelor's degrees runs through the single pre-registration platform shared by the public universities of Madrid.
For the 2026-27 academic year, the URJC offers bachelor's degrees (grados) in five branches of knowledge:
- Social Sciences and Law, for example Law, Journalism and International Relations
- Sciences, such as Nanoscience and Nanotechnology
- Health Sciences, including Medicine
- Engineering and Architecture, such as Aerospace Engineering and Artificial Intelligence
- Arts and Humanities, such as Fine Arts and Translation and Interpreting
Some degrees are taught in English, with their own language requirements. Master's degrees are run by the Escuela de Másteres Universitarios and doctoral programmes by the Escuela Internacional de Doctorado; the university also offers continuing education and its own non-official qualifications (enseñanzas propias). Besides the PAU, students can be admitted from vocational training, from EU or partner-country education systems, with a recognised foreign bachillerato or with a previous degree. In the 2026 CYD Sustainable Universities ranking, the URJC placed eighth in Spain.

Admission
Admission to bachelor's degrees is through the pre-registration platform of the Madrid single university district (Distrito Único de Madrid). Admission routes include:
- PAU and earlier Spanish systems
- Vocational training (FP) and equivalent qualifications
- Education systems of the EU or countries with an agreement
- A recognised (homologated) foreign bachillerato
- A previous university degree
- Entrance tests for students over 25, 40 and 45
- Partial recognition of foreign studies
Some degrees, such as the arts degrees of TAI, degrees taught in English and Translation and Interpreting, also require a specific test or language test.
