Universidad Europea de Canarias is a private university and the Canary Islands branch of the Universidad Europea group. It has two campuses on Tenerife. The Santa Cruz de Tenerife campus is an urban campus in the city centre for business, social sciences, technology, sport and physiotherapy. The La Orotava campus specialises in health sciences and has a simulated hospital accredited by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare. Its degrees are official Spanish university degrees within the European Higher Education Area.
Teaching is organised in a Faculty of Health Sciences, a Faculty of Social Sciences and a School of Architecture, with more than 150 lecturers according to the university. It lists 20 bachelor's and double degrees and 8 master's programmes on campus, including:
- Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing and Physiotherapy
- Architecture (Fundamentos de la Arquitectura)
- Business Administration, Marketing, Business Analytics and International Tourism Management
- Advertising and Digital Graphic Design
- Law, Psychology and Sport Sciences
Some programmes are also available online. The university takes students from all the Canary Islands and other regions of Spain, and its admissions team advises each applicant individually.
