Admission
Bachelor's degrees: access is with the bachillerato plus the university entrance exam, a higher vocational qualification (Técnico Superior), a previous university degree, or the access exams for people over 25, 40 or 45. Students from EU countries or countries with reciprocity agreements, and holders of the European Baccalaureate or the International Baccalaureate, do not need an entrance exam; students from Latin America must first have their school-leaving certificate recognised (homologated) as the Spanish bachillerato.
Master's degrees: a previous university degree is required. Degrees from outside the European Higher Education Area need no homologation if they give access to postgraduate study in their country. Foreign documents must be apostilled or legalised and, if not in Spanish, accompanied by a sworn translation.
Language requirements
The teacher-training master's (MAES) lists Spanish as its language of instruction. Academic documents that are not in Spanish must be submitted with a sworn translation. The international doctoral programmes are taught entirely in English and require English at CEFR level B2.
Scholarships and financial aid
The university advertises its own scholarships as well as public grants, and interest-free financing tailored to the student.
