The Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU) is a federal public university in Uberlândia, Brazil, under the Ministry of Education (Ministério da Educação). It has several campuses in the city, including Santa Mônica, Umuarama and Glória. The university also runs the Hospital de Clínicas de Uberlândia (HCU/UFU) and a basic-education school, the Colégio de Aplicação (CAp/UFU). Its website is in Portuguese.

UFU's activities cover teaching, research and innovation, and extension and culture. It offers undergraduate courses, coordinated by the Pró-Reitoria de Graduação, and postgraduate study, and new undergraduates are admitted through the university's own entrance exam (Vestibular). Through its Faculty of Medicine (Famed) and the HCU, UFU offers postgraduate medical residency in the different medical specialties, as well as uni- and multi-professional residency programmes. Two National Institutes of Science and Technology (INCT) are based at the university. Its extension and culture programme includes free theatre workshops for the community and intensive language courses, such as Russian.

Student support is the responsibility of the Pró-Reitoria de Assistência Estudantil (PROAE), while research and postgraduate study are run by the Pró-Reitoria de Pesquisa e Pós-Graduação (PROPP), which also awards undergraduate research grants (iniciação científica).

Vestibular 2027/2 (undergraduate entrance exam for entry in the second semester of 2027): registration opens in January 2027. The exam offers 1,729 places in 51 course options.
