The Université de Strasbourg (University of Strasbourg) is a French university in Strasbourg, France, which describes itself as a public-service European university. According to the university, it has about 56,000 students, including 13,000 international students, spread over 10 campuses, 35 faculties, schools and institutes and 77 laboratories.

Degrees range from the BUT technology bachelor and the licence (bachelor's) to the master's and the doctorate, with more than 120 programmes available as work-study (alternance) and some offered by distance learning. Non-French-speaking students enrolled in a licence or master's in the faculties can take free French as a foreign language courses. The university holds the "Bienvenue en France" label for welcoming international students, with three stars since 2019. Its Maison universitaire internationale (MUI) brings together services for international students and offers more than 100 rooms, managed by AMITEL, allocated first to international students and doctoral candidates. The university is also part of Eucor – The European Campus, which links five universities in Alsace, Germany and Switzerland.

Master's degrees (bac+5) and doctorates (bac+8) are offered in all four areas of the university; the university lists 725 degree tracks overall. Work-study (alternance) is possible up to master's level. Examples of research-based training include the Graduate School of Pain (EURIDOL), a master's-to-doctorate track focused on pain and its treatment.
Annual registration fees for the 2026-27 academic year (national fees set by the French ministries):
- Licence, licence professionnelle, BUT: €178; non-EU students paying differentiated fees: €2,902
- Master's: €255; differentiated fees: €3,950
- Engineering diploma: €630
- Doctorate: €398 (doctoral candidates do not pay differentiated fees)
Students from the EU, EEA, Switzerland, Andorra, Monaco and Quebec pay the same fees as French students. Other non-EU students in principle pay differentiated fees unless exempted: French Government scholarship holders and exchange students are exempt, and individual exemption requests for 2026-27 must be made by 15 October 2026.
The Maison universitaire internationale (MUI) offers more than 100 rooms managed by the company AMITEL, allocated as a priority to international students and doctoral candidates; requests are made directly to AMITEL. The university's online international welcome platform also helps newcomers prepare their stay in Strasbourg.
