Keele University is a campus university in Staffordshire, England, set in 600 acres of countryside next to Newcastle-under-Lyme and a few minutes from Stoke-on-Trent, about an hour from Manchester and Birmingham. It was founded in 1949 by Lord Lindsay, former Vice-Chancellor of Oxford University, and describes itself as the first new university of the 20th century. According to the university, it was rated Gold in the 2023 Teaching Excellence Framework.

Keele teaches across three areas, Medicine and Health Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Humanities and Social Sciences, from foundation years to postgraduate research, as well as apprenticeships, short courses and online programmes. Subjects range from business, computing and engineering to the life sciences, humanities and veterinary science (Harper & Keele Veterinary School). Taught programmes include the opportunity to study abroad, and most undergraduate courses offer optional Global Challenge Pathways.

International students can prepare at Keele University International College (KUIC), which offers pathways to more than 150 Keele degrees and a Pre-Medicine Pathway with St George's University in Grenada. The campus has more than 2,600 bedrooms, and on-campus accommodation is guaranteed for September entrants who make Keele their firm choice and apply by the deadline.
