The University of Mount Olive (UMO), formerly Mount Olive College, is a private Christian university in eastern North Carolina (United States). It was established in 1951 by the Original Free Will Baptists as a liberal arts institution and keeps that values-based approach.

UMO offers traditional on-campus and online programmes, from associate to doctoral degrees, which are designed to be transfer-friendly. Teaching is organised in four schools:

  • House of Raeford Farms School of Agriculture & Biological Sciences
  • Robert L. Tillman School of Business
  • School of Arts & Sciences
  • School of Education

Programmes also include nursing and aviation (flight training with additional lab fees). The campus has more than 900 traditional students, 13 residence halls and 25 clubs. Applying is free; traditional students can receive merit scholarships of US$5,000 to US$8,000 per year based on their GPA, and international students pay an additional international fee each semester.
