The University of North Alabama (UNA) is a public university in Florence, Alabama (United States). Founded in 1830, it describes itself as Alabama's oldest four-year public institution of higher education. Its 130-acre campus lies on the Tennessee River, and it has more than 10,000 students from over 50 countries. UNA is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
It offers more than 170 undergraduate and graduate programmes, on campus and online, up to doctoral level, through these colleges:
- Arts, Sciences, and Engineering
- Business and Technology
- Education and Human Sciences
- Nursing and Health Professions
- Honors College
The Office of International Affairs handles international admissions and student services, and the Academic English Program (AEP) offers intensive English, in person, online or hybrid, for students who need to reach the level for unconditional admission. The academic year has two 16-week semesters (August-December and January-May). Students can live in on-campus residence halls.

Some programmes are offered fully online. The Academic English Program (AEP) provides English training for international students before degree study.
Master's programmes (30-36 credits), including an MBA, and doctoral programmes for students who already hold a master's degree. International graduate students apply through a separate international graduate application.
