Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) is a university in Montgomery, Alabama, established in 1967 and accredited by SACSCOC. It has about 5,200 students and a student-to-faculty ratio of 17:1, and since 1971 its campus has been at 7400 East Drive in Montgomery. Students from 45 nationalities are represented.

Courses can be taken on campus, through distance learning or as a combination. Nearly half of the classes have 20 or fewer students, and nearly 40 percent of students receive scholarship assistance. The AUM Warhawks compete in 11 NCAA Division II sports, and students can live in residence halls.
International undergraduate applicants pay no application fee. They submit a copy of their passport, official high school transcripts (with an English translation if needed), financial documentation and proof of English proficiency, for example TOEFL iBT 61, IELTS 5.5 or Duolingo 100. International scholarships of up to US$4,000 a year are available. The Office of Global Initiatives ([email protected]) helps with the application, visa process and transport.
