Vélez-Per Escuela de Diseño y Moda is a fashion and design school in Madrid's Salamanca district, founded in 1958 by Sagrario Vélez Perea. Its training in design and fashion is approved (homologada) by the Comunidad de Madrid, and the school states that it follows the EFQM European quality model and has trained more than 14,000 students since 1958. Courses range from hobby classes to programmes leading to a professional qualification.

Courses can be taken intensively, in person, blended, by distance learning (within Spain, with one visit to Madrid a month), at weekends or in summer, from one week to three months; enrolment is open all year and students choose their own timetable. The school also offers free and subsidised courses under the Comunidad de Madrid FIP plan and SEPE. Students can show their work at IFEMA fashion week and FIMI, and there is a job bank with company placements. Intensive courses are aimed at students from outside Madrid and abroad: the school arranges accommodation, and foreign students can apply for a study visa.

Scholarships and financial aid
Vélez-Per offers free and subsidised courses under the Comunidad de Madrid FIP plan and through INEM/SEPE, in dressmaking (modista), pattern making and grading, assistant fashion design technician, costume technician and tailoring. Discounts are available for holders of the Comunidad de Madrid Carnet Joven, large families and members of various NGOs, and there are special professional modules for young people under the Carnet Joven agreement.
