Walsh University is an independent Catholic university in North Canton, Ohio, in the Midwestern United States. It opened in 1960, has a 156-acre main campus and welcomes students of all faiths from 42 states and 35 countries. Service is part of the core curriculum: volunteer work is required of all students.
Walsh offers more than 60 undergraduate majors, plus graduate and online accelerated programmes for adults. Main areas include:
- Nursing and health sciences, with pre-professional tracks and an early-assurance BS/DPT physical therapy route
- Business, management and data analytics
- Teacher education
- Computer science and cybersecurity
- Theology, philosophy and the humanities
Graduate degrees include the MBA, the MSN and DNP in nursing, the Master of Occupational Therapy and a three-year Doctor of Physical Therapy. More than 100 international students from over 35 countries study at Walsh, and the international admissions office offers a personalised admissions and visa transfer process; English pathway programmes with partner ESL schools lead to undergraduate study without a test score. Students can live in the university's residence halls, and Walsh competes in NCAA Division II athletics.

Walsh has rolling admissions with several start dates a year; international applicants should send all documents at least five weeks before the start of term. First-year applicants must finish secondary school in their home country before enrolling and need a GPA of at least 2.0 on the U.S. 4.0 scale. Documents:

Scanned PDFs are accepted for admission; admitted students then receive an I-20 for the student visa.
International students who have not lived in an English-speaking country or attended a U.S. or IB school for at least two years must meet one of these minimums:

- SAT evidence-based reading and writing 500 or ACT English 21
Conditional admission is possible as an English Pathway student through partner ESL programmes, which do not require a test score.

Residence halls have computer labs, laundry facilities, study areas and TV lounges, and every room includes high-speed internet, phone and voicemail service and basic extended cable at no extra cost.
