Abu Dhabi University (ADU) is a private, multi-campus university in the United Arab Emirates. Its main campus is in Abu Dhabi, the capital, with further campuses in Al Ain and Dubai. ADU holds national accreditation from the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the UAE Ministry of Education, and its programmes are also approved in China, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Turkmenistan. More than 10,000 students from over 100 nationalities study there.
Undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are taught in five colleges:
- College of Arts, Education, and Social Sciences
- College of Business
- College of Engineering
- College of Health Sciences
- College of Law
For international students the university has its own admissions route and offers help with visas and health insurance, student housing, transport, placement tests, scholarships and financial aid. Students can take part in internship programmes and outbound study abroad, and ADU also hosts visiting students through its International Study Abroad Program.
