Abu Dhabi University (ADU) was established in 2003 with the ambitious vision of becoming one of the best institutions of higher education in the UAE, the Persian Gulf region and throughout the world. For this reason, the university strived to make sure that all degree programs would be accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research before any students were accepted. Abu Dhabi University offers both undergraduate and postgraduate study programs, which are organized into three collages: the College of Arts & Sciences (CAS); the College of Business Administration (COBA); the College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) as well as the English Language Institute (ELI). Abu Dhabi University also has a good number of affiliations with other universities, some of which are HEC Paris, Freie Universitat Berlin, and the University of Bath.
