Costa Rican Language Academy

The Costa Rican Language Academy (CRLA) came into existence in 1989 as a Spanish language center located in San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica. The teaching approach at CRLA involves active participation of the students. The instructions are interesting and fun, which makes learning easy. CRLA has a permanent staff of 25 teachers all endorsed by the Costa Rican department of Education and qualified in Spanish teaching from either the University of Costa or Universidad Nacional. Many students at CRLA transfer credit to other colleges by applying themselves. CRLA provides a certificate of attendance & a letter of Spanish proficiency acquired, confirmation of enrollment and transcript of grades to its students which makes it easier to get into other colleges and universities. The accommodation opportunities are hotel and self selected home stays.
