emlyon business school is a French business school founded in 1872 by the Lyon Chamber of Commerce at the initiative of local silk entrepreneurs. It holds the triple accreditation from EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA and has 9,865 students of 135 nationalities on three campuses, in Lyon, Paris and Shanghai. The school has a network of 261 academic partners and 52,000 graduates, and has been a mission-driven company (société à mission) since 2021. The Financial Times ranked it 10th in its European Business Schools Rankings 2025.

Programmes cover every level from bachelor's to doctorate:

  • Global BBA and BSc in Data Science (with Centrale Lyon), both four years
  • Master in Management, entered after a preparatory class or through parallel admission
  • Masters and MSc programmes taught in English, in Lyon, Paris and abroad
  • Advanced Masters, taught in French, for holders of a five-year degree
  • Executive MBA, International MBA and executive education
  • PhD and Global DBA (with Durham University)

International students can also come for the summer or winter school or as study-abroad free movers.
