Escola PIa Balmes

Escola Pia Balmes is a state-subsidised private school (escola concertada) in Barcelona, in the Sant Gervasi - Galvany area of the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district. It stands on the corner of Carrer de Balmes 208 and Travessera de Gràcia, close to the FGC Gràcia station and the Diagonal and Fontana metro stations. The school states that it is open to everyone and inclusive, and that it works in an interdisciplinary, competence-based way at every stage, with an emphasis on individual attention.

Families host the visiting students in Barcelona for a week in October, and the school's students are hosted abroad in the second part of the exchange. English conversation assistants support the school's English language plan, and the school offers extracurricular activities.
