Fast Forward Porto

Fast Forward Language Institute is a school in Porto, Portugal, that has taught Portuguese to foreigners since 1991. The institute was founded in Brazil and has since taught students and executives from many countries. All teachers are experienced native speakers with university degrees.

Lessons focus on communication: besides grammar and written exercises, classes include oral and listening work. Classes take place in the morning with a 20-minute break; after lunch, the school organises afternoon activities to help students get to know Porto, and teachers also arrange activities in students' free time and at weekends.

Students can stay with a host family, usually in a two- or three-bedroom apartment, with their own bedroom and a house key. On request the school arranges transfers from and to the airport. Students from EU countries do not need a visa; others apply at a Portuguese embassy or consulate in their home country.
